Undergraduate Study

If you have good international school qualifications such as the International Baccalaureate, UK International 'A' levels or Indian 10 plus 2 graded examinations you may apply direct to the UK for entry to university.

For first degrees in all subjects you must apply to the UK Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). In some cases you must apply for Foundation Courses through UCAS. Some universities expect you to have studied certain subjects at school if you wish to read for a degree in those academic areas.  For example, if you wish to study for a degree in mechanical engineering you are normally required to have good school qualifications in mathematics, physics and possibly chemistry.

Ceres can advise you on which universities to target with your qualifications.  Of course you must also demonstrate a good level of English. Ceres can help you to apply to UCAS for certain universities and monitor the progress of your application.

If you are already studying at university in your own country and you wish to study in the UK during your second year for up to a year as part of your degree, Ceres can help arrange this process.  It is usually possible to transfer credits awarded in the UK to your own university by agreement.
